MUFFIN

Yes, Tyler and I call Jack Muffin. That is one of many silly names we have for our little sweetie. Cita is Tyler's name of the week right now :) I don't know if he has ever called anyone by their real name. He cracks me up.

Jack started swim lessons last Thursday. He did pretty well. Although, I accidentally dunked him almost immediately after getting in. She told me to bring him down to his mouth and Jack threw his head forward, gasped a few times, and then smiled so i think he handled it well. I think next week we will have to purposefully "dunk" him : /   We will see how that goes! I wanted to get a picture while in the pool especially because Ty wasn't able to be there but it was a little overwhelming. Maybe next week.

Friday, Daddy came home with Jacks very first putter with his initials engraved on it. I thought this was a very sweet gift he can have forever.

This is just my little Chunkers hanging out in the kitchen... I could just eat him up. Daddy requests photos throughout the day while he is at work. I don't want him missing out on the action.

On Sunday, Cinco De Mayo, we took a little drive in our new whip... Daddy's new EZ-GO that is.  There is something about riding around in a golf cart with my fam that is soooo fun to me. Just loved it!

Great Weekend.

CATCHING UP!

So, now I remember why I almost didn't start a blog! It is hard for me to keep up!  I am going to try to catch up while daddy is gone for a few hours and Jack is down for the night.

Here is my little maniac man going 90-nothing. I love it. He is such an exhausting little bundle of joy. I don't know what I use to do with all of my time?!

I have never seen a baby so happy! He gets that mostly from Daddy. Not much can get him down. Looking at these pictures makes me want to go wake him up... only for a second.

His absolute Favorite place is the fridge. He tends to throw huge fits when it is closed. When I need to get the dishes done I just open that sucker up and away he goes.

Nothing better than a chunky sleeping baby.

Easter Weekend

Easter weekend was a blast. We started off with a play date with Landry!
It took her a little bit to warm up to Jack but I don't blame her.
He pesters her, pulls her skirt, follows her around....
Jack definitely needs a little brother or sister at some point.

We had to make a trip to see the big bunny. I was shocked that Jack wasn't terrified of him especially because he is now acutely aware of the difference between strangers and "his people". He was trying to grab his whiskers or ears in all of the pictures expect this one.

Jacks first Easter egg dying experience.

Saturday night we had dinner at the Bailey's!
 Fun times as always!
Love these sweet girls!

Easter Morning!
Before Jack Got his goodies we told the story of Easter and what it means to us... Not that he understood but it felt good starting the tradition.

Over at my Dad's for an Easter egg hunt!

 Sweet Mason, Paxon and Jack.

Very First Easter Egg. We Kept it of coarse. Hoping I'm not becoming a hoarder with all of the things I like to keep as memorabilia

 Worn Out Little Bunny.

 Papaw Jack

I unfortunately have to write about Tyler's sweet Papaw Jack passing away two weeks ago today. He was such an honorable and sweet man and he will be missed by many. He was the sweetest husband, father, and grandfather and had the kindest heart. I am so fortunate to have known him. Here are a couple of pictures of Papaw Jack and 'lil' Jack. His name sake as he called him. That makes me proud.

Jack turned 10 months while in Camden. It was also Pam-aw's birthday!

Mama's Birthday

I had the perfect birthday with people I love. Tyler made it home from Vegas just in time to celebrate. During the day I just hung out with my precious baby boy, did some shopping, ate lunch with daddy and that night we had a super low key evening which is the way I like things. Don't want to have to get ready if possible :)

This picture made my heart absolutely melt.  Jack couldn't have been more excited to see his daddy!!

Lunch with Daddy

Waiting for Uncle Justy and Aunt Coco to come over!

Ok.... Here it goes! My FIRST blog post! I have been looking forward to this and I am just now finding the time to do it. The main objective is to keep up with all of these memories that we are creating as a family (and stop annoying people with all the pictures i upload to fb... I have a huge fear of loosing precious photographs) :)

Jack is NINE months!!
For some reason this is a big "birthday" to me.  I don't know what it is.  I guess because he was in my belly for about this long and at the time it just seemed so far away. Then you blink and it's here. Crazy. Crazy.

Jack's Facts
*Weighing in at about 26 lbs.

*Fitting comfortably (gigantic legs and booty) in 18 mo. clothing

*Wearing size 5 Diaps.

*Waving bye bye to everyone and everything (even in his sleep).

*Just started crawling on his knees today! He had been doing army crawl for several weeks and woke up and decided today was the day.

*First pull up was like last week as i was putting guard on the edges of our fireplace. Just gave him incentive i guess.

*Sleeping habits from day one have been great at night. Here lately its been a little tougher for naps since he can now go from laying to sitting and entertain himself by playing with and destroying his bumper.

*Favorite food to date: turkey/carrot/apple combo. (extra bland, extra nasty... It'd be a lot better with sriracha or jappys... we will work up to that)

*He is all boy... VERY rough and pretty tough.

*Pretty sure he is left handed. A lot of people say there is no way that you can tell at this age, but he does EVERYTHING with his left hand. Drumming, eating, waving... If I stick something in his right hand he immediately puts it in his left.  Gonna have to adapt to a right handed world little buddy :(

Here's the little sweetie...

Waving non-stop (left hand of coarse)

Love his sleeping position.... Love that booty :)

The little booger finally learning to use his knees...
